We’re Doing Our Bit
We strive to find top quality materials that are sustainable and do as little damage to our planet as possible. This isn’t a one-off activity. All the time new technologies are being found, new assembly, shipping methods and materials are identified and we evaluate these to see if they can be used to produce a NeBu SolarBack.
We use aluminium to build the chassis of a SolarBack. It’s strong, light and durable in outdoor conditions. It doesn’t rust and is ductile but importantly it can easily be recycled easily and cheaply many times.
We use free solar energy to power the backrest and to charge your phone so you don’t have to connect your SolarBack to a power outlet. Yes its solar so there’s no impact on the environment and its free.
Think about the mattress you lie on when you use a sun lounger. Nothing lasts forever and at some point most have to be replaced. They’re often made from materials which are damaging to the environment or are produced using damaging methods or chemicals. At NeBu we’ve found a natural material that’s sustainable and doesn’t damage the environment when its no longer needed.
